Hi everyone!
This week's project is creating a poster via glogster. I and my friend Nazmi created a glogster which is about 21st century communication. As you know, in last week's project we prepared a video about how to create glogster. So, I have already known creating glogster and it is easy for me. I really liked glogster. It's funny and interesting :) I am sure I will use it in future. I hope you will like our poster! :)

How to create GLOGSTER
Hi Friends,
This week our project is to prepare how something is done and the process of it. I and my friend Nazmi have done the project together. I think this project is very challenging and hard to do. At first, we decided the subject and then we pick up the materials. We use audio recording, screen shoots, images, videos. Our subject is how to create Glogster which encourges students to think in a creative way. We combine materials through Movie Maker. After finishing, I found the project very beneficial. In future, I am going to use this in my classroom. :)

Webquest Evaluation
Hello everyone,
This week's project is evaluation of a webquest. It was a difficult project, I think. I spent too much time on it. I chose a webquest from Zunal. I think webquesting is very useful and effective tool for teachers who want to use technology in educating. It is also beneficial for students and they can enjoy it.
I chose the webquest named Visiting Barcelona. You can reach the link from here. In the webquest, students will organise a plan to visit Barcelona. The aim of the activity is to practice English orally and learn the city.
My Evaluation For This Webquest,
Overall Aesthetics
Overall Visual Appeal
There are enough graphic elements. The page had standard aesthetics. I would give 4/4.
Navigation and Flow
Students can easily follow instructions. It is an understandable webquest and easy to read. 4/4
Mechanical Aspect
I didn't come across any mechanical problems. 2/2
Introduction
Motivational Effectiveness of Introduction
The webquest has very brief introduction. It should have been more attractive for students. 1/2
Cognitive Effectiveness of Introduction
Introduction part prepares students for what is to come but it has no reference to learners prior knowledge. 1/2
Task
Connection of Task to Standards
There are two tasks in the webquest and both of them are referenced to standards. They are easy to understand. Learners can know what they will do to achieve proficiency. 4/4
Cognitive Level of the Task
Tasks require information found on web sites which are given in the process part. But students are supposed to just get help on web sites. They have to be creative for tasks. 3/6
Process
Clarity of Process
Every step s clearly stated. Students can easily follow instructions. 4/4
Scaffolding of Process
Strategies and organizational tools embedded in the process are sufficent to ensure that all students will gain the knowledge needed to complete tasks. 6/6
Richness of ProcessThere are few steps and no seperate roles assigned. 0/2
Resources
Relevance and Quatity of Resources
There isn't any resources on the webquest. 0/4
Quality of Resources
0/4
Evaluation
Clarity of Evaluation Criteria
Criteria for evaluation are clearly stated in the rubric. Rubrick consist of ' use of English, speaking, writing, creativity'. 6/6
Total Score: 35/50

Our Radio Broadcast and Our Reflection
My partner is Gülden DELEN. We stay in the same dormitory. While we were doing this assingment, we had many difficulties. Because we couldn't find a silent room in our dormitory. Firstly, we decided to make up a story in option 1, but, honestly, we couldn't find a really interesting one. So we decided to make an interview. We listened the podcast and then prepared six questions about the topic. We thought what we could do more interesting for this option and we decided to make a radio broadcasting. We struggled to make audio recording. It is the most challenging one. We benefitted from our computers, smart phones, musics and the podcast. However, we enjoyed it. I think I will use the podcast in my English lessons in the future. We did this assingment as a joyful practice, not homework.
